EXCITING ORIENTATION MORNING GETS NEW TERM OFF TO A FLYING START

Austin School’s new term orientation morning recently took place, introducing new students to the school, teachers and facilities, and welcoming back existing students. Following a greeting from the Principal, children were able to try their hand at a variety of activities at ‘Meet the Teachers’ stations, set up to give an taster of the fun and dynamic curriculum offered at Austin School. They got to design paper helicopters, try a beans-picking challenge, ‘minute to win it’ and ping pong games, fire bows and arrows, and sample a variety of quizzes, games and lots of arts and crafts.

Students had a wonderful time getting to know their teachers and each other, while enjoying engrossing activities and challenges. They were able to take this upbeat and positive attitude with then into their classrooms, as the first lessons of the new academic year kicked off in the afternoon.
