Personalised Support and Community Integration

We advocate diversity, equality and inclusion, believing that each student is unique. In our daily teaching and student management, we aim for every child to be both seen and heard, using a multi-dimensional evaluation system to identify each individual's strengths. Teachers nurture students from a developmental perspective, encouraging and recognising their efforts and progress. For students identified through assessment or  diagnosis to have special educational needs, we provide personalised education plans and support based on their abilities and requirements. The school is also an important place for children to learn social interaction skills. We want our students to feel safe and belong in their classes and the school, to forge friendships, and learn to respect interpersonal boundaries, growing into empathetic and responsible members of the
community.

Student Management

At Austin School, teachers skilfully use every opportunity for social and emotional education. Beyond morning meetings and school assemblies, students learn self-management and interpersonal skills during recess, projectbased learning and research studies, enhancing their problem-solving abilities. The personal, social,  health, and economic (PSHE) education courses offered across the school aim to help students understand themselves, society and the world, promoting healthy personal development and cultivating character and civic values. Austin School's teachers grow alongside students, actively focusing on effective learning concepts and practices, placing equal importance on academic education and teaching life skills.
