| Austin School took part in the recent Dragon Boat Festival, during which teachers and staff had a brilliant team building experience while enjoying this ancient and colourful tradition. The races were held in Tuen Mun in the New Territories, with beautiful weather making it a perfect summer day’s event. Austin School staff, teachers and management attended the celebrations, including Supervisor Dr. Peggy Chen and CEO Leon Liang, alongside Executive Director Tracy Ho and School Manager Chan Wan Sang JP who provided their support, increasing the feeling of team spirit. Partners and children also joined for the day, which was rounded off with a superb, traditional Chinese meal. And while we may not have finished first in the races themselves, paddlers – some of whom were racing for the first time - gave 100% effort. Overall it was a wonderful and meaningful experience which will live long in the hearts and minds of all participants – until we have to do it all again next year! |
